But when the Stones came to spend three days at the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio at 3614 Jackson Highway, a nondescript building opposite the Oakwood Cemetery. The core of the group was made up of keyboardist Barry Beckett, drummer Roger Hawkins, bassist David Hood and guitarist Jimmy Johnson.
